Top female idols Girls' Generation wrapped up their Japan tour this week, according to their agency SM Entertainment.
SM announced in a press release that the girls' held the final leg of their Japan tour at the Marine Messe in Fukuoka on July 18, after performing at total of 14 shows in six cities including Osaka, Saitama, Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagoya since early May.
The nine-member girl group is now set to hold their second concert in Korea titled "2011 GIRLS' GENERATION TOUR" at the Olympic Park Stadium on July 23 and 24.
Girls’ Generation, composed of members Taeyeon, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Sunny, Jessica, Seohyun, Yoona, Yuri and Sooyoung, is currently one of the most well-known female idol groups in Asia which made their debut in Korea in 2007.
The girls also had their first full-length Japanese album "GIRLS' GENERATION" achieve double platinum status after selling over 500,000 copies and has been invited to Japan's Summer Sonic Festival next month.
