"Miss Ripley" crowned new Mon-Tues primetime winner

MBC's drama "Miss Ripley" has been crowned the new winner on the Monday and Tuesday night primetime lineup.

Figures from TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Wednesday revealed that "Miss Ripley," starring Lee Da-hae, Kim Seung-woo, Park Yuchun and Kang Hye-jung, drew in a bigger crowd this week with an average viewership rating of 13.2 percent, an increase of 2.6 percentage points compared to last week.

Data release by AGB Nielsen Media Research too reported that the drama, into its 14th episode, scored viewership ratings of an average of 15.4 percent, showing a rise of two percentage points from last week's average.

This week's episode focused on how Lee Hwa (Choi Myung-gil) figures out that Jang Miri (Lee Da-hae) is her biological daughter whom she abandoned.

Following behind at No. 2 was SBS' historical series "The Warrior, Baek Dong-soo," featuring Ji Chang-wook and Yoo Seung-ho, earning viewership ratings in the 13 percent range on both charts.

KBS' new romantic comedy "Spy Myung-wol," starring Han Ye-seul and Shinhwa's Eric, showed promise on the Monday and Tuesday night lineup with viewership ratings in the nine percent range.
