SM Entertainment's Facebook account has become the first Korean page to be featured on Facebook's official page featuring international celebrities.

According to the Facebook page, SM Entertainment's official account (http://www.facebook.com/smtown) and upcoming concert in Paris titled "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS" was posted yesterday on the wall of the Celebs on Facebook page, managed by employees of Facebook.

Celebs on Facebook features international celebrities such as Lady GaGa, the late Michael Jackson, soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo, Vanness Wu and Tokio Hotel.

Meanwhile, the post read, "Attention all Korean music fans! SMTOWN is having a huge concert event in Paris with bands like Super Junior and SHINee, and they're sharing tons of exclusive photos and videos from it on their Facebook Page. Who are your favorite Korean bands?"

Several hundreds of fans have left comments about their favorite SM artist while over 280 users clicked on the "like" button on the webpage.

Earlier this month, SM opened their official page to establish communication with fans worldwide and relay information on new albums, concerts and schedules of their artists, as well as featuring exclusive videos and photos of the stars.

The page, with over 240,000 fans, is promoting the "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR in PARIS" concert to be held at Le Zenith de Paris on June 10 and 11.

SM's 2010 world tour, which first kicked off in Seoul in late August of last year and continued into China and Japan, has placed at No. 10 on the U.S. Billboard Boxcore chart for attracting over 15,000 fans and raking in over one million dollars in ticket sales.

SM, founded by former singer Lee Soo-man in 1995, is one of the most influential entertainment agencies in Korea alongside YG and JYP Entertainment, well known for raising popular singers that date back to the times of H.O.T. and S.E.S. in the late 90s.

They currently manage the careers of some of the most successful K-pop artists including BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, TRAX and f(x).
