Special limited edition of CNBLUE's album sold out

The special limited edition of Korean rock band CNBLUE's first full-length album "FIRST STEP" has sold out in just a day of going on sale, according to their agency FNC Music.

On Friday, FNC announced that 30,000 copies of the special limited edition of "FIRST STEP," which includes the 12 tracks from the regular album and an 80-page pictorial featuring shot from their music video for title track "Intuition" and upcoming video "LOVE GIRL," sold out yesterday.

The group has received over 100,000 pre-orders for the original version of "FIRST STEP," following behind Korean idols TVXQ and Big Bang who have sold over 100,000 copies of their albums so far this year.

CNBLUE -- composed of members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, Lee Jong-hyun and Lee Jung-shin -- made their debut in Korea early last with their hit single "Alone" and mini-album "Bluetory" after releasing two singles in Japan.

They shot to instant fame in Korea with Jung's appearance in popular TV series "He is Beautiful" (SBS, 2009) alongside actors Jang Keun-suk, Park Shin-hye and Lee Hong-ki.

CNBLUE has also led a successful music career overseas, going double platinum in Taiwan and placing in the top ranks of the prestigious Oricon chart in Japan. They have also held several fan meetings and concerts in the country which were attended by several thousand fans.

The boys have been dominating a number of online music charts with "Intuition" and have scored various wins on televised music programs as well.
