Actors Jang Nara, Oh Ji-ho attends drama award ceremony in Hong Kong

Korean actress Jang Nara and actor Oh Ji-ho attended the 1st annual Asia Rainbow TV Awards which was held yesterday in Hong Kong, according to the event's official website on Wednesday.

Jang and Oh were presenters at the award ceremony which recognizes Asia's best in drama, documentary and animation, hosted by the Hong Kong Televisioners Association and China Television Production Committee and held at the Hong Kong Convention Center.

The two actors announced the winner for best actor and actress as well as the best director award among a total of 40 productions from 13 countries competing in 24 categories, while SBS TV series "Bad Boy" took home a prize for best action director.

Jang made her debut as a singer in 2001, releasing a number of his albums and songs such as "Sweet Dream," "I am a Girl" and "April Story." She expanded her career into acting with roles in the popular sitcom "Non Stop 2" (MBC, 2001) and "Successful Story of a Bright Girl" (SBS, 2002).

She is currently preparing to make her small screen comeback after a six year hiatus in the upcoming KBS drama tentatively titled "Baby Faced Beauty," which will begin its run on May 2, alongside actor Choi Daniel.

Oh made his debut in the entertainment industry in 1998 starting with television commercials and expanded his career into movies including "I Love You" and "My Wife is a Gangster III." He starred in KBS historical series "The Slave Hunters" and has been cast in the Korea, China and Japan co-production drama "Strangers 6."
