Brian to hold solo fan meeting in Japan in July

Singer Brian of Korean pop duo Fly to the Sky will be hosting his first-ever fan meeting in Japan as a solo artist this summer.

The singer made the announcement on Saturday, posting details of his upcoming fan meeting on his official Twitter page (http://twitter.com/Brianjoomuzik).

According to the post, the fan event titled "Brian's 1st Fanmeeting in Japan" will take place at Tokyo's Duo Music Exchange on July 24, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The Korean-American singer, whose full name is Brian Minkyu Joo, debuted in 1999 as a member of Korean R&B duo Fly To The Sky. After releasing eight studio albums as a group, members Brian and Fany Hwang both decided to pursue solo activities.

Brian made his solo debut in 2006 with the album "The Brian" and released his second record "Manifold" last December.

He currently hosts a TV show titled "Shoulder To Shoulder" on Korean cable channel KBS Joy.
