JYJ’s Kim Junsu, Oak Joo-hyun Winners at 18th Korean Musical Awards

JYJ’s Kim Junsu and musical actress Oak Joo-hyun have been named the winners of the 2012 Korean Musical Awards.
Kim and Oak each received the award for the best leading actor and actress for their roles in “Elizabeth” at the 18th Korean Musical Awards, held at Olympics Hall in Seoul’s Olympics Park, South Korea on October 29.
Highly supported by his dedicated fans and musical manias, the idol star also grabbed popular male star award at the awards ceremony for three years in a row.
Songstress Oak, having received the trophy with the role in "Elizabeth" at the 6th Musical Awards back in June, proved herself to be one of the most acclaimed musical actresses here, thanks to the winning of the last night's event.
Meanwhile, K-pop solo artist Ivy won the best performance by a new actress trophy for her role in “Chicago.”
At the last night’s ceremony, “La Cage Aux Folles” shone bright with four wins in the best adapted foreign musical, best performance by an actor in a supporting role, best choreography and best ensemble award.
