Elizabeth Olsen in early talks to star in "Old Boy" remake
Hollywood actress Elizabeth Olsen, who is the younger sister of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, is in talks to star in Spike Lee's remake of "Old Boy."
In Lee's remake of director Park Chan-wook's thriller movie from 2003, Olsen was offered the role of a caseworker who helps investigate the past of a man who was kidnapped and confined for 15 years in solitary and inexplicably released, according to various international media reports on Friday.
Till now, Josh Brolin has been set to play the role of the kidnapped man and several other actresses including Mia Wasikowska (Alice in Wonderland) and Rooney Mara (The Girls with the Dragon Tattoo) are in talks to decide who will take on the character that was originally played by Korean actress Kang Hye-jung.
Olsen made her debut film in the pic "Martha Marcy May Marlene" in 2011 which received rave reviews from a number of international film festivals as well as scoring her nominations for best actress.

She also starred in the movie "Liberal Arts" opposite actor Josh Radnor and will next be seen in thriller "Silent House."
