LYn steals No. 1 spot from Se7en on Gaon singles chart
Korean songstress LYn stole the No. 1 spot from singer Se7en on Gaon's singles chart during the second week of February, according to Gaon's official website on Thursday.
LYn's latest ballad "To Turn Back Hands of Time," from the second part of the soundtrack to MBC's "The Moon Embracing the Sun," made its way to first place during the week of February 5 to 11, overthrowing previous winner Se7en to second place.
LYn, whose real name is Lee Sae-jin, made her debut in 2001 with her first album "My First Confession." She has led a successful singing career and has taken part in other soundtracks for TV series "Protect the Boss," "My Girlfriend is Gumiho" and "Home Sweet Home."
Meanwhile, rock band FTIsland saw their title track "Fiercely," from their fourth mini-album "GROWN-UP," climb up a spot to No. 3.

On Gaon's album chart, solo artist Jay Park's first studio release "NEW BREED" made a shining debut at the No. 1 spot while MBLAQ's fourth mini-album and FTIsland's "GROWN-UP" filled up the second and third slots, respectively.
