4minute wraps up promotional activities for 1st album
Korean girl group 4minute have wrapped up promotional activities for their first full-length release, according to their agency Cube Entertainment.
A PR official from Cube told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday that the girls' appearance on cable music channel Mnet's "M! CountDown" last Thursday was their final activity aimed at promoting title tracks "Heart to Heart" and "Mirror Mirror" from their first full-length album "4MINUTES LEFT."
The girls will now visit several countries in Asia for various group activities and member Hyun-a is preparing for her solo comeback while the other members will make appearances on entertainment programs and focus on school, the official explained.
Composed of other members Ji-hyun, Ji-yoon, Ga-yoon and So-hyun, 4minute splashed into the local music scene with their debut single "Hot Issue" in 2009 and has enjoyed success in several Asian countries including Taiwan and the Philippines with their mini-album "For Muzik."
They were the first K-pop girl group to branch out into the Japanese market in early May last year where they produced three Japanese singles including "Muzik," "I My Me Mine" and "First." The group's first full-length album "DIAMOND" was released in the country in early December.
