FTIsland's frontman Lee Hong-gi has revealed his close friendship with former band member Oh Won-bin.
In the picture uploaded on his Twitter website on Thursday, the two singers are seen sitting side-by-side while striking a pose with a comment below saying, "On the set with Won-bin. Did you come here because you missed me?? Lately, there have been so many people who seem to miss me."
"Hong-gi is currently busy in Japan shooting the Japanese TV series 'Muscle Girl' and Won-bin went to visit him on the set since he was in the country as well," a PR official from their agency FNC Music told 10Asia over the phone on Friday.
Oh is a former member of FTIsland but he left the group in January 2009 due to the difference he felt in music style to the group and the same year, participated in making the soundtrack for popular Korean drama “He’s Beautiful.”
He kicked off a solo career last year by releasing his first digital single “I Love you and I Love you” in November of last year.
Hong-gi is the lead singer of FTIsland composed of other members Song Seung-hyun, and Choi Min-hwan, and Choi Jong-hoon. They released their first album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007 and followed it up with several singles and studio albums including "Colorful Sensibility," "Cross and Change" and most recently, "beautiful journey."
