Super Junior-M begins promotion of new album

Idol group Super Junior-M has kicked off promotions for their new album, starting with China, disclosed their agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.

According to a press release by SM, Super Junior-M arrived in Beijing yesterday to take part in music and entertainment shows aired on over 100 broadcasting stations including Beijing Television and numerous cable channels.

At these shows, the group introduced their upcoming second mini-album “Perfection,” featuring a total of six songs, including the title track of the same name which is a dance number, and the two other tracks “Off My Mind,” and “True Love,” written by members Henry and Zhou Mi.

Today, the group is scheduled to show up on CCTV’s new entertainment program where they will stage the songs from "Perfection" for the first time along with their others hit songs such as “Super Girl.”

The boys will fly into Taiwan tomorrow, where the album will be released next, to attend a press conference and similar promotional events.

"Perfection" will go on sale throughout Asia starting with Taiwan on February 25 as well as in Korea three days later with the Korean version of the title track.

Super Junior-M, also composed of members Siwon, Donghae, Ryeowook, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk, Sungmin, was first formed in April 2008 as the third sub-group of Super Junior that also includes other units Super Junior-T, Super Junior-K.R.Y. and Super Junior-Happy.

The group released their first album ‘迷 (Me)' and received the award for Best Group in 2008 and followed it up with their first mini-album “SUPER GIRL” in September 2009. The members were also hired as models to advertise for global soft drink brand Pepsi and China's mobile phone brand OPPO.
