Choi Ji-woo likely to return to small screen in new medical drama
Korean actress Choi Ji-woo is likely to take on a role in an upcoming medical drama tentatively titled "Medical School," returning to the small screen after a two year hiatus.
"Choi said that she liked the drama as soon as she read the synopsis," an official from her agency told 10Asia over the phone on Monday. "However, as of right now nothing has been finalized yet."
"Medical School," set to air during the latter half of the year, tells about the various incidents which occur amongst characters at a medical school.
Choi made her acting debut in 1993 and has since appeared in various dramas such as "First Love (KBS, 1996)" and rose to stardom after starring in the hit TV series "Winter Sonata" with Bae Yong-joon in 2002.
