Famed U.S. metal band Steelheart is set to visit Korea this weekend, giving their first concert in the country in 12 years.
The glam metal band, who last performed in Korea in 1998, will be giving two concerts; at Seoul's Central City Millennium Hall on February 27 and V-Hall near Hongik University the following night.
The band was scheduled to perform in Korea last year but the visit was delayed due to the outbreak of the H1N1 influenza virus.
Formed in 1990, Steelheart is best-known for the rock ballad "She's Gone" from their debut album "Steelheart". They have released a total of five albums, most recently "Good 2B Alive" in 2008.
The upcoming concert will be the group's first performance in Korea with new members, formed after a stage accident in 1992 from which lead vocalist Miljenko Matijevic suffered serious injuries. Matijevic is the solely remaining original member.
