Korean ballad group 2AM will release a new album in Korea in the first half of next year, according to their producer Big Hit Entertainment on Friday.


An official with Big Hit confirmed the news in response to a photograph that 2AM member Jo Kwon posted of himself, in a recording studio, on his Twitter account just yesterday.

A comment below read, "I have good news~! We are currently recording our new album for our fans in Korea~That is why I'm working hard~."


The official explained, "The boys just began recording the new release though the format of the album has not been finalized."

2AM, composed of other members Seulong, Jinwoon and Changmin, made their debut in Korea in 2008 with their single album "This Song."

The quartet is gearing up for their debut in Japan with their Japanese debut single "Never Let You Go" which will go on sale in the country on November 9 while they also kick off their promotional tour in Japan early next year.
