SM project duo M&D to release MV for new single tomorrow

SM Entertainment’s new project group M&D will release the music video for their first digital single tomorrow, revealed the agency on Wednesday.

According to a press release by SM, male duo M&D (abbreviation of “Midnight and Dawn”) composed of Heechul from Super Junior and Jungmo (X-Mas) from TRAX, will unveil the music video for “Close Ur Mouth,” revealed today, through SM Town’s official YouTube channel and Facebook account tomorrow.

The upcoming clip was shot at a karaoke bar in Seoul early this month and will feature several K-pop artists including Simon D from The Supreme Team, Jia from miss A, Lee Hong-ki and Choi Jong-hoon from FTIsland and Yong Jun-hyung from BEAST, explained SM.

The agency then added that the two boys actively participated in creating the music video with Heechul taking part in planning and production of the clip to casting the main leads and Jungmo displaying his ability to handle a variety of instruments including the guitar, bass, electronic drum and synthesizer.

“Close Ur Mouth,” which the boys both composed and wrote lyrics for it, is a fast-paced electronic pop tune containing the elements of rock and tells about the hottest guy on the block dumping his girlfriend.

Heechul, 27, first started out in the entertainment business with a role in KBS' teenage drama "Sharp 2" in 2005 and then began his singing career as one of the members to his popular boy band which has remained one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia.

Jungmo, 26, made his debut in 2004 as the lead guitarist in group TRAX with their single album "Paradox." TRAX had released several hit songs such as "First Rain," "Let You Go" and "Oh! My Goddess."
