Jay Park to hold 1st fan meeting in Japan in July
Korean singer Jay Park will hold his first fan meeting in Japan in early July, according to the event’s promoter Zak Corporation on Monday.
Zak’s official website notified that Park’s first fan meeting and concert in Japan which had been delayed due to an unexpected earthquake in the country in March, has been rescheduled to take place at Nakano Sun Plaza Hall in Tokyo of Japan on July 8.
Park, 23, whose Korean name is Park Jae-beom, made his debut as a member of 2PM in 2008 but parted with the group early last year after stirring controversy over remarks he wrote regarding Korea during his trainee period.
He then kicked off his solo career late last year after signing with major talenthouse Sidus HQ and has released several single albums including his first mini-album "TAKE A DEEPER LOOK."
He also finished shooting his first film titled “Mr. Idol” about a young man who dreams of becoming a vocalist in a band, is set for premiere in August.

Also modeling for the jean brand “dENiZEN,” he is currently focusing on his next album and overseas activities.
