Australian soft rock duo Air Supply [Southern Star Entertainment]

Australian soft rock duo Air Supply will woo the crowd in Korea once again at their upcoming concert in the country in August, according to the concert's promoter Southern Star Entertainment.


On Tuesday, Southern Star announced in a press release that Air Supply, who first performed in Korea in 1982, will rock the stage at Seoul's Olympic Park Olympic Hall for their concert titled "AIR SUPPLY LIVE in SEOUL" on August 16.

Air Supply, composed of guitarist and singer-songwriter Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1975 and have performed with a number of musicians and singers on their songs.


The group first revealed their self-titled debut album in December of 1976 which received gold status in Australia and has since released a number of albums featuring their world renowned hit songs such as "Making Love out of Nothing at All," "Lost in Love," "Here I am" and "I Can Wait Forever."

Their songs "All Out of Love" and "Goodbye" have been remade by boy band Westlife and songstress Jessica, respectively, with the latter being featured in the soundtrack for Korean film "Promise (1998)" which starred Park Shin-yang and Jeon Do-youn.
