A member to Korean girl group GLAM, top producer Bang Si-hyuk's first-ever music project, was revealed in Japan this this week, revealed the group’s agency Big Hit Entertainment on Thursday.

According to Big Hit, member Dahee was introduced as the Korean version of the vocaloid for a vocaloid experience party held in Akihabara of Japan earlier this week covered live by over 40 media outlets including NHK and watched by over one million around the world via online broadcast.

Vocaloid, a combination of 'vocal' and 'android,' is a virtual instrument which creates songs similar to those being sung by human beings when lyrics and a melody are input into the system, developed by global music instrument firm YAMAHA.

Bang created Dahee's vocaloid for the event with Korea's participation having become possible through the collaboration between Big Hit and Korea’s SBS Artech currently developing the Korean version of vocaloid with Vocaloid 3 technology license from YAMAHA.
