f(x) wins double victories on weekend music programs
Girl group f(x)'s song "Danger" scored victories on both KBS’ “Music Bank” and SBS’ “Inkigayo” aired last Friday and this Sunday, respectively.
This is the group’s eighth win in total on live music programs combining the song’s three consecutive wins on music cable channel Mnet’s live show “M! CountDown” aired last Thursday, one win on “Music Bank” on April 29 and two other wins on “Inkigayo” on May 8 and 15.
“Danger,” an electro pop dance number from f(x)'s first regular album “PINOCCHIO,” depicts a girl, who, in love for the first time, attempts to analyze her first crush from head to toe, by creating him in her head as if he were a wooden puppet of her own.
“Thank you so much for always showing your love and interest. We’ll work even harder,” said the members in their acceptance speech thanking their fans, families and agency's staff.
Luna, who had promised to show the dance steps from their previous hit song “NU ABO” if they come out a winner once again, kept her promise at the encore stage Friday, dancing it to the music of “Danger.”
Other songs that competed for No. 1 spot against “Danger” included “Let it Go” by Heo Young-saeng on “Music Bank” and “Shampoo” by After School, “Abandoned” by Jay Park and “Ma Boy” by SISTAR19 on “Inkigayo.”
