T-ara Eunjung to appear on MBC reality TV series "We Got Married"

Female idol Eunjung of girl group T-ara has been cast in MBC's weekend reality show "We Got Married," according to her agency Core Contents Media on Wednesday.

"I will work hard on the show, dreaming of becoming a real-life couple like actress Hwang Jung-eum and Kim Yong-jun," Eunjung was quoted as saying. "I want to show the audience something different and fun compared to other couples who were on the show."

An official from Core Contents told 10Asia over the phone that Eunjung will begin shooting for the show tonight, although they have yet to decide when her first segment will go on air. The official declined to reveal who Eunjung's make-believe husband would be.

Eunjung made her debut as a child actor in the early 1990s and has shown off her acting skills in the SBS' TV series "Coffee House" alongside Kang Ji-hwan and recently in KBS' musical drama "Dream High." She also appeared on the big screen with a role in film "Death Bell."

She is also a member of the seven-member girl group T-ara who made their debut in July 2009 with their singles "Lie" and "Wanna Play." They have several other hit songs under their belt including "Bo Peep Bo Peep," "I Go Crazy Because of You" and "Why Are You Like That."
