“Going Crazy” soars atop Gaon chart
Singer Song Ji-eun’s “Going Crazy” made an impressive leap to the top spot on weekly Gaon singles chart during the second week of March after climbing 19 steps from the previous session.
“Going Crazy,” a song about obsessive love with a featuring by another singer Bang Yong-guk, is the second solo album by Song who is also the main vocal of four-member girl group Secret, released on March 3.
Previous winner “TONIGHT,” an electronica number from group Big Bang's fourth mini-album, went down a step to take second place while teenage singer IU’s ballad “The Story Only I Didn’t Know” from her "Real +" record maintained its third place for the second time in-a-row.
Meanwhile, the albums chart had three new releases fill up the top three slots.
SS501 member Kim Hyung-jun’s first solo mini-album “My Girl” released last Tuesday, debuted on top of albums chart.
The album is composed of seven tracks including title song “oH! aH!” “Girl,” “Heaven” and several other instrumental pieces.
Male trio ballad group M To M’s first EP album “Like Trash” that hit the stores last Thursday, placed second on the chart.
The main songs to this album include its title track that shares the name with its album as well as “Perfect Your Love” and “Spring Day.”
K.will’s second EP album “My Heart Beats,” also released last Thursday came third on the chart.
