Korean idol Super Junior member Heechul has posted a picture of himself in Tokyo of Japan with FTIsland's frontman Hong-gi on his official Twitter website (http://twitter.com/Heedictator).


In the photograph uploaded on Tuesday, both singers are seen making a V-sign with their hands while Hong-gi is hugging Heechul from behind with a comment underneath saying, "Hee & Hongstar in SIBUYA."

"Both singers are good friends and they were in Japan at the same time for their activities," an official from Hong-gi's agency FNC Music told 10Asia over the phone today, adding that FTIsland is currently in Taiwan for promotional events.


Fans who have seen the picture responded, "You two look like such good friends!" "I wish I was in Shibuya with you guys!" and "Have fun on your travels!"

Heechul first started out in the entertainment business with a role in KBS' teenage drama "Sharp 2" in 2005 and then began his singing career as one of the members his popular boy band which has remained one of the most popular K-pop acts in Asia.

Hong-gi is the lead singer of FTIsland. They released their first album "Cheerful Sensibility" in 2007 and followed it up with several singles and studio albums including "Colorful Sensibility," "Cross and Change" and recently "beautiful journey."
