Huh Gak’s “Always” tops Mnet weekly chart again

“Always” by Huh Gak topped cable music channel Mnet's weekly singles chart once again last week.

“Always,” a ballad song pledging undying love, maintained its position at first place on the chart from November 8 to 14, making it the second week the song has been No.1.

The piece, the title track from Huh’s first album of the same name, is also the very song that Huh sang on the finale show of Mnet's singing competition show SuperstarK 2 this year, the equivalent of “American Idol” in the United States.

Newly entering the chart was six-member boy band BEAST’s dance number “Beautiful," the title track from their fourth mini-album "Lights Go On Again."

“JUMPING,” another dance tune, by five-member girl group Kara, came in third. The song, from their fourth mini-album of the same name, has also been released in Japan as their second mini-album.

Meanwhile on Mnet's album chart, “SuperstarK 2 Up To 11,” a special album composed of songs by the 11 stars of SuperstarK 2 shot up to the No.1 spot.

Boy band 2AM’s first album “Saint o’clock” that topped last week’s chart slid down to second place and BEAST’s special album “Lights Go On Again” debuted at third.
