Korean singer and actor Kang Yo-hwan successfully wrapped up two live concerts in Japan, according to his agency on Tuesday.


The concert was held at a special photograph exhibition for TV series “Winter Sonata” on Monday where some 1,500 fans showed up to see the singer perform and receive autographs, BOF Korea explained in a press release.

Kang sang several songs including “One Person”, “Step 1” and “Heart Speaks”, the soundtracks for “Winter Sonata” that he wrote the lyrics for.


The singer also appeared at a Tokyo Dome event today attended by a 50,000-people audience for the premiere of the animated version of “Winter Sonata” in which he dubbed for the role of “Sang-hyuk” and sang for the soundtrack.

The 31-year-old star has had a successful music career in Japan since his debut in the OST for Korean drama “Hotelier”. His first single album, “Remember” was sold out in Japan and he released his second album “Step1” in August.


He appeared in the SBS drama “Cain and Abel” earlier this year.
