The Wonder Girls will make their comeback to the local music scene in November, announced their agency JYP Entertainment on Monday.

After apologizing for the delay of the album, originally set for release this summer, JYPE stated on its official website that the girls will promote a new album in Korea throughout the month of November.

This will be after they finish filming U.S.'s TeenNick TV-Movie "Wonder Girls at the Apollo" in October and before they promote themselves in the country as well starting December, the statement explained.

"Wonder Girls at the Apollo," starring the five girls as the main characters, will be the first time for Asian singers to play the leading roles in a TV-movie.

It is set for release in the first quarter of 2012 and the movie's soundtrack will be included in the Wonder Girls' US debut album.

"We are delighted that the Wonder Girls will be making their U.S. debut with such strong foundation and support. We are also very happy that the Wonder Girls will be able to present their years of hard work not just through their album but also through their TV movie," JYPE was quoted as saying in the statement.

The Wonder Girls, a sensational force in the Korean music market since their debut in 2007, crossed over to the U.S. in 2009 where they pursued a number of activities including opening the Jonas brothers' tour, releasing their debut single "Nobody," as well as holding a 27-stop tour in North America last summer.
