Boy group The Boss reached seventh place on Japan’s prestigious Oricon chart.

According to the official website of Oricon Style, The Boss took the No. 7 spot on Oricon’s daily chart with their second Japanese single “Love Bingo!” which went on sale yesterday.

“Love Bingo!” is composed of four tracks including “MAGIC,” “夏の記憶” (summer memories) and the instrumental versions of each track while following the theme of love that started with their first single “Love Power” released in mid-April.

In a separate statement, their agency Open-World Entertainment said that over one thousand fans showed up at the showcase for the new album held a day before its release and added that the event will continue on in the Japanese cities of Fukuoka, Hokkaido, Hyogo, Tokyo and Nagoya until June 19.

Composed of members Hyun-min, Injun, Jay, Karam and Mika, The Boss made its debut in Korea in March of last year with their single album “The Admirer” and released their second album “Awake” three months later.

The group started promoting themselves in Japan starting mid-September of last year after signing a contract with local management company DA and Sony Records and has been carrying out various promotional events for their songs and albums.
