Jazz bassist Ron Carter to perform in Korea next month
World famous jazz bassist Ron Carter will hold a concert in Korea next month, according to the concert's promoter Southern Star Entertainment.
On Monday, Southern Star announced in a press release that Ron Carter will be joined on stage by pianist Mulgrew Miller and guitarist Russell Malone for the concert titled "RON CARTER-Golden Striker Trio-LIVE in SEOUL" held at Yonsei University's Centennial Hall in Seoul, South Korea on June 21.
Ron Carter is known for his infamous cello, double bass and piccolo bass skills. He has made appearances on over 2,500 albums, making him one of the most-recorded bassists in jazz history alongside Milt Hinton, Ray Brown and Leroy Vinnegar.
