[INTERVIEW] Boy band INFINITE - Part 4

10: Sung-yeol, you mentioned how if you were to change places with another member for a day you'd want to be Sung-kyu and order the others to clean. What exactly do you want to do?
Sung-yeol: I'm going to overwork everyone while I just rest.
Sung-kyu: Nah, I clean with everyone. During other interviews, the other members have said that all I do is just order them around and don't clean but I have always cleaned. I'm really upset! Sung-yeol just lied to get some laughs. He was being a cheap shot.
Sung-yeol: No, Sung-kyu does the laundry but he's on a different team. There was a time when I was going to do the laundry after I showered and right when I was going to Sung-kyu was bugging me to do the laundry...
Sung-kyu: You shouldn't procrastinate [doing laundry].

10: It must be a hassle at your age to scold the other members to do their laundry.
Sung-kyu: Yes it is. Honestly, who wants to have to nag people just for the fact that you're the oldest and in charge when in fact, I'm not better them in any other way? So I feel bad for them a lot of the time.
Sung-yeol: (Points out Sung-kyu) Here! (laughs)
Woo-hyun: You really want to take this to the end, huh?

10: Sung-kyu, is there a reason why Woo-hyun calls you in for talks?
Sung-kyu: Woo-hyun is the second-oldest member of the group and we use the same room. He's just like that since we are together most of the time and Woo-hyun has a celebrity mindset. He's a star!
(all laugh)
Sung-kyu: I didn't mean it in a bad way. It's great to see him have so much confidence. It's just that I tell him he shouldn't overdo it. I don't call him off separately that often.

10: It feels as though your stage mannerism and presence will have changed after standing on a lot of stages for shows and other events. What have learned over time?
Hoya: It seems as though the audience like it when we point to one person in particular.
Sung-kyu: And it's hard to do it often but we often hold people's hands. Woo-hyun is good at saying the remarks for them although they're a bit cheap.

10: Does each member practice what they are going to say?
Woo-hyun: (laugh) We just go with the flow and it doesn't seem like the mood is ruined.
L: We're good at riling up the crowd at the marketplace but there is a cold response at classier events with elderly people.
Sung-yeol: It's one of those things that just work better when we're on the streets.

10: Is there anything that you want to do in particular when you become successful in the future?
L: For me...Ah, what was the question? I like to collect limited edition items. I like to collect cameras even though I don't have many of them. I also like figurines. They are all in a box right now I'm sharing rooms but I want to try and collect an single item. You can call me the collector.

10: If you were to shoot an advertisement, what product would you want to advertise?
L: Clothing or cameras. Canon, Nikkon, Olympus. Any kind.

10: Have you ever felt, "I think we're pretty good since we've come this far" since making your debut?
Sung-kyu: No.
Woo-hyun: We haven't felt that way since we are still very desperate.

10: Out of 10 people, how many people do you think recognize you?
Woo-hyun: Uhm, maybe one or two?
Hoya: I was walking around in a very crowded department store last Chuseok [Korean Thanksgiving] at my hometown Changwon in the South Gyeongsang Province and only six people recognized who I was. They were our fans and not regular people.
Sung-yeol: There are times when they don't even know I am when I go to convenience stores even with my make-up on. I go in with the slightest hope that they will recognize me but they just go on with their work...
Woo-hyun: They're probably wondering why this kid wandering around wearing make-up.
L: People sometimes ask me if I'm a celebrity. If I'm wearing my wardrobe for the stage people ask me if I am a singer and when I tell them that I am from INFINITE, they say it's the first time they heard of us.
Sung-jong: A fan wrote about seeing me at a restaurant when I went to go eat duck a while back. The fan wrote how at the restaurant Sung-jong was watching a program on TV that he was on. At first I thought he was a really good looking kid and when I got a closer look it was Sung-jong!
Sung-kyu: So are you saying that you're handsome?
Woo-hyun: So ultimately, you're boasting about yourself!

10: Woo-hyun, you recently made headlines saying that you're the doppelganger of Korean actor Hyun-bin after a photograph of you in the similar track suit surfaced.
Woo-hyun: Seriously, we took the picture as a joke but we got over 1,400 responses.
Dong-woo: Are you sure that you weren't serious but pretending to be goofing off? (laugh)
Woo-hyun: However, about 1,390 of the responses read "Do you want to die?" "What makes the picture similar to Hyun Bin?" and "Only the track suit is the same as Hyun Bin and not the face." They were pretty cold-hearted comments...

10: Sung-yeol, there were several pictures that came about you as well that said you look like actor Yoo A-in.
Woo-hyun: Sung-yeol got about 1,600 comments to that. (laugh)
Dong-woo: Well, at least Woo-hyun got several protective responses saying how he himself had never said that he looked like Hyun Bin but Sung-yeol didn't get any supportive comments.
Sung-kyu: Some of Woo-hyun's fan left comments saying that he was more handsome while Sung-yeol's only said that they [Sung-yeol and Yoo A-in] didn't look the same.
Sung-yeol: "They definitely don't look alike. Do you want to die before dawn?" Most of the comments were like that. (all laugh)
Sung-yeol: Honestly, I don't feel that we look alike. Why, why why! I don't how that topic came about.
Woo-hyun: But thanks to you we became a bit more well known. Anti-fans are fans no matter what. All we have to do now is just change their minds. I hope that after finish promoting this album that even if one of us is wandering around that someone will notice us and say "Hey! Aren't those the guys from INFINITE?"
