SM artists to release English-language Christmas album

The artists of top Korean agency SM Entertainment will release an English-language Christmas album next week, making it their first holiday record in four years.

On Tuesday, SM announced in a press release that Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, TRAX, The Grace-Dana&Sunday, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee and f(x) will unveil their Christmas album "2011 SMTOWN Winter-The Warmest Gift" on December 13.

"The Warmest Gift" will be composed of 11 songs including seven new Christmas songs featuring the track "Santa U Are The One" by Super Junior as well as four remakes of popular Christmas carols such as "Last Christmas" and "Sleigh Ride."

The aforementioned artists have come to produce this album as a way of expressing their gratitude to their fans who have supported them during their "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR" this year.

SM's artists have performed in front of thousands of fans during their shows in Los Angeles, Shanghai, Tokyo, Paris. Seoul and New York.

SM, founded by former singer Lee Soo-man in 1995, is one of the most influential entertainment agencies in Korea alongside YG and JYP Entertainment, well known for raising popular singers that date back to the times of H.O.T. and S.E.S. in the late 90s.
