Bae Yong-joon agency sues photographer for invasion of privacy
Top Hallyu star Bae Yong-joon's agency KEYEAST has sued the photographer of a monthly magazine for invasion of privacy, an official at the agency said Wednesday.
Through a lawsuit filed on February 18, KEYEAST claimed that a photographer at a women's magazine invaded Bae's privacy by taking photos of the inside of his house located in the affluent Seongbuk district of Seoul.
The official further explained that Bae purchased the house for purposes of living but the photographer trespassed the grounds, took photos, and published them in the magazine without prior consent.
"We decided to file the suit in order to protect our actor's personal life," the official stated.
The house, currently being remodeled, was bought by Bae last year for five billion won, equivalent to about 4.5 million dollars. He is set to move into the house in a few months.
