Super Junior’s leader Lee Teuk will enlist into the army to fulfill his mandatory two-year military service next month.
The multi-talented singer is set to enter the military by getting trained at the 306th draft in the city of Uijeongbu in Gyeonggi Province, Korea on October 30, SM Entertainment said in press release Tuesday morning.
After the five-week basic military training, the “Sexy, Free & Single” singer will serve as an active-duty soldier for 21 months despite his back pain from the car accident in 2007.
Lee, who has been active with popular variety shows such as SBS “Star King” and “Strong Heart,” will now be discussing how and when he will end the shows' schedule with the producers, SM officials said.
The group reigned atop various music charts in and out of Korea with “Sexy, Free & Single," the title tune off from their sixth full-length record of the same name, released on July 1.
