"Bleak Night" invited to Fukuoka International Film Festival in Japan
Korean drama "Bleak Night" has been invited to the ongoing Fukuoka International Film Festival in Japan, according to its official website.
On Monday, the website revealed that "Bleak Night," along with other international features, will be screened several times at the 21st annual Fukuoka International Film Festival from September 16 to 25.
Meanwhile, actor Lee Je-hoon and director Yoon Sung-hyun of "Bleak Night" will visit the country during its screening on September 23.
"Bleak Night" tells the story of three high school students Ki-tae (Lee), Dong-yoon (Seo Jun-young) and Hee-june (Park Jung-min) who have a falling after a misunderstanding which leads to group assault and the death of one them.

The film had won the FIPRESCI Prize at this year's Hong Kong International Festival while director Yoon was handed an award under the category of New Currents competition at the 15th annual Pusan International Film Festival.
