After School member Bekah has decided to part with her girl group next month, according to her agency Pledis Entertainment on Friday.
A press release from Pledis announced that Bekah will depart from the nine-member girl group to return home to Hawaii to pursue a career as a designer.

"I have prepared a solo song as my final project which I wrote while thinking about the good memories and experiences that I had," Bekah said in the statement. "I hope that after studying hard to be a designer that I can make something for the members of my group."
Bekah made her debut in 2009 as the rapper in After School. The girls released their first mini-album “New Schoolgirl” and has released several more including the second mini-album "Because of You," third mini-album "Bang!" and Christmas album “HAPPY PLEDIS The 1st Album.”
