Wonder Girls' Yenny celebrates birthday with cake

Korean songstress Yenny from female idol group Wonder Girls has celebrated her birthday with a special cake.

Earlier today, Yenny, whose birthday is on May 26, uploaded a photograph on her official me2day account [Korea's version of Twitter] of her birthday cake with a comment below saying, "Isn't my birthday cake pretty?!" followed by another post of herself and the cake.

In the photo, Yenny is smiling and pointing to her birthday cake of a yellow-haired girl sitting on a bright turquoise grand piano.

Fans have left responses to the pics saying, "Oh! Happy Birthday Yenny! hope all your birthday wishes come true!" "Hope you enjoyed your cake! Happy Birthday unni!" "Wonder Girls FIGHTING! happy birthday Yenny! can't wait to hear your upcoming album!"

Trained and discovered by top Korean talenthouse JYP Entertainment, Yenny made her debut in the Wonder in 2007. They have produced a score of hit songs including "Tell Me," "So Hot" and "Nobody."

The girls crossed over into the pop market in the United States in 2009, taking the stage as the opening act for the famous Jonas brothers and releasing their debut single "Nobody," as well as holding a 27-stop tour in North America last summer.

They have been busy recording and preparing for their new U.S. album which has yet to see a release date.
