Jazz prodigy Nikki Yanofsky to visit Korea

Jazz prodigy Nikki Yanofsky will be visiting Korea on October 28 to promote her first album, according to a report on Wednesday.

The 15-year-old Canadian singer will be staying in Korea for four days, appearing on TV programs and doing media interviews to promote her album "Ella... of Thee I Swing", set for release on October 13.

The album, already released in her hometown in September last year, won her several nominations at the Canada Juno Awards.

The Quebec-born jazz singer became widely recognized for her talent after performing at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2006 as the youngest artist to take part in the fest. She was 12 at the time.

Known as the "cute prodigy with braces who sings jazz", videos of her performances on stage have received millions of hits on Youtube, a popular video sharing website.
