GP Basic's first showcase in Japan [GPBASIC ENTERTAINMENT]

Teenage girl group GP Basic will hold their first showcase in Japan this weekend, according to their agency GPBASIC ENTERTAINMENT.


On Wednesday, an official from GPBASIC told 10Asia that the girls will visit the country for their showcase, hosted by Music Japan TV, to be held at the Hep Hall in Osaka on May 28.

The official then explained that the girls will reveal their new single "Jelly Pop" for the first time at their showcase, perform six other songs as well take part in interviews with local media outlets.


"The group will also make their comeback to the local music scene with 'Jelly Pop' in early June. However, we are still working on the details on their return," the official went onto explain.

GP Basic, composed of members Mooi, Leah, Amet, Trinity, Zio and Janey, made their debut with their single "Game" in August last year and followed it with song "Lalala." They are known as the youngest female group in the industry with the average age of fifteen.
