Korean idol Kim Hyung-joon [S-Plus Entertainment]

Korean idol Kim Hyung-joon's first solo fan meeting in Korea has sold out, according to his agency S-Plus Entertainment on Friday.


S-Plus announced in a press release that tickets for his fan event, which will kick off in Korea next month, sold out in five minutes into going on sale yesterday. He will also hold showcases in several other countries in Asia as well.

During the showcase, Kim will introduce his first solo album to his fans and media outlets as well as hold various events to return the love and support that he received from fans.


He recently held a showcase in Japan, attracting over 3,000 Japanese fans to the event as well as launching his official fan club in the country.

Kim made his debut as one of the members of the popular boy band SS501 in 2005, producing several hit songs such as “Warning,” “My Girl,” “Love Ya,” and “Love Like This.” He also starred in the musical "Cafe In."

Late last month he signed with major Japanese recording company AVEX to lead a solo singing career in Japan.
