"Secret Garden" OST Concert to be held next month

The second concert for the soundtrack to hit TV series “Secret Garden” will be held next month, disclosed the concert’s organizer Achieve group DN on Monday.

According to a press release by DN today, the second round of “Secret Garden OST Concert” will take place on March 12 at Seoul's Olympic Park Gymnasium, featuring all the artists from the drama's soundtrack including Baek Ji-young, Kim Bum-soo, 4Men, Yiruma, BOIS, Yoari and 美 as well as special guests Yoon Min-soo from the duo band Vibe and singer Tim who produced the album.

Actor Hyun Bin, who played main character Kim Ju-won in the drama, will not make it to the upcoming concert since he will start his two year-long mandatory military service required of all Korean men starting March 7.

Instead, DN plans to feature a video of Hyun Bin at the concert, as well as NG-cuts and other behind-the-scenes clips.

The concert will also introduce a 'special guest' whose identity will only be revealed on the day the concert is held.

The show, set to accomodate up to 10,000 fans in contrast to the first concert's 2,000 seats which sold out in five minutes of going on sale, will be directed by the producer who arranged the OST concert for drama “Beethoven Virus” (MBC, 2008) accompanied by a 10-member band and 24-member orchestra.

“Secret Garden,” (SBS, 2010) starring actors Hyun Bin, Ha Ji-won, Yoon Sang-hyun and Kim Sa-rang, is a romantic fantasy about two people in love who keeps switching souls every time it rains.

The show ended its two-month run in mid-January after seeing its ratings peak at over 35 percent and brought about various syndromes in regards to fashion, catchphrases and music.

It has also been sold to 13 countries in the in the Asia region including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, the United Sates, Myanmar and Cambodia.
