Park Jung-min's solo album tops music chart in Taiwan
Korean idol Park Jung-min has topped album charts in Taiwan with his latest release "Not Alone," according to his agency CNR Media on Friday.
CNR announced in a press release that Park's first solo album "Not Alone," which went on sale on January 28, came in at No. 1 on Taiwan's Five Music weekly album chart and online retailer website (http://www.books.com.tw/), while placing within the top five on various other music charts in the country.
The singer will be visiting Taiwan on February 20 to hold a showcase and fan meeting to celebrate this latest release and then head off to several other countries in Asia including China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Thailand to promote his new album.
Park made his debut as one of the members of popular boy band SS501 in 2005 and has appeared in various television shows as well as starring in the musical "Grease."
He signed with CNR Media after his group's contract with DSP Media expired in June of last year and has since pursued a solo singing career.
He will be flying into Japan tomorrow to perform at the "Valentine Day Concert" in the country on February 13 and 14.
