Female songstress IU’s “Someday” jumped three steps to top the weekly Gaon singles chart on the first week of February.
“Someday,” which is one of the soundtracks to KBS’ musical drama “Dream High,” is a song about the hope that someday, all the tears and anguish that one is currently going through will come to an end.
Next on the singles chart was “Different,” a duet song by Kim Bum-soo and Taeyeon from nine-member female band Girls’ Generation that debuted onto the No.2 spot.
Four-member girl group Secret’s “Shy Boy” from their latest single album went up three steps to take third place on the latest chart.
Another album from last year, BEAST’s EP album “Lights Go On Again” that was released in November, took second place on the chart after climbing a whopping 69 steps.
Third on the list was Big Bang member Seungri’s first solo mini-album “V.V.I.P.” which slid down a step to third place.
