SS501 member Kim resting at home

Boy band SS501 leader Kim Hyun-joong, who arrived in Korea from Japan yesterday after being infected with the influenza flu, is currently resting at home with his family, according to his agency.

"He is resting well and will concentrate on recovering his health for the time being," said an official from DSP Media on Thursday.

The 23-year-old singer had become infected with the H1N1 influenza virus a week ago while on promotion for KBS hit TV series "Boys Over Flowers".

He received a clean bill of health from his hospital in Tokyo before arriving in Korea but will wait to fully recover before he resumes his activities, DSP has said.

His five-member band also plans to resume its preparations to release a new album depending on the progress of Kim's recovery.
