Actor Josh Brolin, who has been earmarked to play the lead character in the Hollywood remake of famed Korean pic "Old Boy," has praised the film's director Park Chan-wook during his visit in Seoul today.
When asked about what his impression was when meeting Park for the first time, Brolin expressed his admiration not just for the director's work but his distinct humbleness, at the "Men in Black 3" press conference held in Seoul on Monday.
With the female lead Elizabeth Olsen, Brolin has been set to play actor Choi Min-sik's character in the movie, which tells about a man who has been kidnapped and confined for 15 years in an unknown place.
Helmed by director Spike Lee, the Hollywood version of the hit movie will crank in this September.
The two actors and the director are scheduled to walk down the red carpet for the movie's world premiere set to take place in Seoul tonight, and K-pop group Wonder Girls' member Sunye and Lim are to join them at the event.
"MIB 3," which is the third installment of the franchise movie to be released in ten years after the second one unveiled in 2002, will hit the local theaters on May 24.
