Super Junior-M holds fan meeting in Taiwan

Idol group Super Junior-M held a fan meeting in Taiwan earlier this week, informed their agency SM Entertainment on Wednesday.

According to a press release by SM, a total of over 6,200 local fans in Taiwan showed up at Super Junior-M’s fan meeting titled “Perfection 2011 Taiwan FAN PARTY” held at the Taipei International Convention Center on June 6.

During the event also celebrating the success of the group’s second mini-album “Perfection” in the country, the boys performed several of their hits songs including “Destiny,” “love is sweet,” and “Super Girl,” plus a special performance by Ryeowook and Kyuhyun who prepared a ballad song and Eunhyuk, some dance moves.

This was also followed by a quiz show, a lottery event as well as an autograph and photo taking session with fans.

The group then announced the premiere of “Super Show 3” in 3D format in Taiwanese theaters this coming August, featuring the group’s third Asia tour last year covering several countries including China, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam and Singapore.

Super Junior-M, composed of other members Siwon, Donghae, Henry, Zhou Mi and Sungmin was first formed in April 2008 as the third sub-unit of Super Junior, dedicated to Chinese fans in the region.

The group has so far been successful in their career, seeing both the original and repackaged version of the album "Perfection" claiming the No. 1 spot on several of major music charts in Taiwan as well as in China in the early half of this year.

The group is now headed for a similar fan meeting in Beijing set for August.
