Idol group Big Bang singer Taeyang's first solo concert has been rescheduled for September 25 and 26, according to his agency YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun-suk on Tuesday.
The concert, originally set for September 4 and 5, had been postponed "for more time to perfect things for the show" with the singer being busy with promotional work in Japan and shooting a commercial with his five-man band.
Tickets will go on sale on Gmarket (http://www.gmarket.co.kr) starting August 20, at 8 p.m.
Meanwhile, Yang also announced that the release date of Taeyang's international album, originally slated for August 19, will be pushed back by a week.
The new record, targeted at fans in both Korea and overseas, is set to include ten previous releases as well as two new songs, a bonus DVD with all of his music videos, and behind-the-scenes footage.
Born Dong Young-bae, Taeyang was the first Big Bang member to debut as a solo artist, releasing his first mini-album "HOT" in May 2008. The album produced two hit singles "Prayer" and "Look Only at Me."
He has been promoting his first full-length album "Solar" and title track "I Need A Girl," featuring fellow Big Bang member G-Dragon and YG labelmate Sandara Park of girl band 2NE1.
