Korean actor Jang Hyuk will make his return to the big screen as the male lead in director Kim Sung-soo's film, according to his agency Sidus HQ.
A rep with Sidus told 10Asia on Tuesday that Jang will play a character that tries to find the host of the deadly cold virus in Kim's film "Cold" (translated title) set to crank in late March or early April.
Jang, whose real name is Jung Yong-joon, made his acting debut in SBS' TV series "Model" in 1997. He has since starred in other dramas "School" and "Successful Story of a Bright Girl."
He then rose to stardom throughout Asia as took the male lead in KBS' "The Slave Hunters" in 2010 and recently in SBS' historical series "Deep Rooted Tree."
