Historical movie "The Sword with No Name" will be shown in a special screening session at South Korea's presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae this week, according to the film's producer on Monday.
"First lady Kim Yoon-ok and other officials will watch the film at Cheong Wa Dae on Thursday, the day Empress Myeongseong was murdered during the Incident of the Ulmi Year of 1895," said SidusFNH in a press release.
Actress Su Ae, who played the role of the empress in the film, is set to attend a memorial service to be held the same day marking the 114th year since the queen's passing away, SidusFNH added.

"Sword" is based on the true story of the Joseon Kingdom empress, also known as Queen Min, who was stabbed to death by a band of Japanese as her forward-thinking came to be considered obstacles to the then-imperial Japan's annexation plans.
The film, also starring actor Cho Seung-woo, has been received well by the domestic audience so far, standing at No. 2 on the box office over the weekend and attracting over one million viewers in eleven days of its release.
