Korean singer and actress Lee Jung-hyun is in discussions with Lady Gaga about debuting in the United States, according to her agency on Monday.


"Yes, we are talking to Lady Gaga about Lee's U.S. debut," confirmed an official at Ava Films & Entertainment.

"But we are in talks with other artists too," he added without disclosing any further details.


He denied reports saying the two had already recorded a duet song for Lee's U.S. debut album.

The 29-year-old Hallyu star made her debut in the 1996 hit Korean film "Petal" and later focused on her singing career. She has released seven albums in Korea, two in Japan and one in China as well. She is best known for her techno-style songs "Come" and "Change".


Lady Gaga is currently one of the most popular singers in the industry with several Billboard chart toppers, including "Just Dance" and "Poker Face".
