The first poster for the upcoming Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) has been revealed.
Through a press release on Tuesday, JIMFF unveiled the first poster of a clear grayish silver ocean which is based on the Ocean Series paintings by artist Koo Bohn-chang.
"The image used for this poster shows the subtle movements from the surface of the waves," Koo was quoted as saying. "The waves express how humans live through the various emotions just like how it moves along with the wind. It is just like the changes in emotions felt while watching movies."
The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, which was launched in 2005, was the first music and film festival in Korea.
The festival, into its seventh year, will take place from August 11 to 16 at the Jecheon in North Chungcheong Province, South Korea.
