BTOB's SEO EUNKWANG lands 1st emcee role

Korean idol SEO EUNKWANG of boy band BTOB has landed his first role as one of the hosts on a cable program, according to his agency Cube Entertainment on Thursday.

Cube said that SEO will join Mighty Mouth's Sang-chu and SHORRY J to emcee SBS MTV's "Studio C," and that his first episode will air later tonight.

Opening his first episode, in which three members from BTOB and 4minute's So-hyun and Ji-yoon made special appearances to congratulate him on his first hosting role, SEO sang in live to celebrate his new launch.

"I will do my best to assist Sang-chu and SHORRY J with leading the show, though I have a burden about having the title of an emcee as a rookie artist." SEO was quoted as saying.

SEO made his debut as the leader of BTOB--of which other members include SHIN PENIEL D., LEE CHANGSUB, LEE MINHYUK, JUNG ILHOON, YOON SUNGJAE and LIM HYUNSIC--in March with their first mini-album "Secret (Insane)."
